Elvira Covarrubias
Founding attorney
Elvira started the firm to give families a fixed price and a lawyer who explains every form in their own language.
Elvira grew up in East San Jose, translating letters from USCIS for her parents at the kitchen table. She has practiced immigration law since 2009, first at a nonprofit legal clinic and then on her own, before opening the firm with Thuy Truong.
She handles family petitions, marriage-based green cards and VAWA self-petitions, and she reviews every flat-fee quote the firm sends.
