What we handle

Four kinds of cases, each for a flat fee

We keep to the cases we file every week, so we can price them before we start.

  • Flat fee

    Family visas

Petitions for a spouse, parent, child or sibling, and VAWA self-petitions for people hurt by a U.S. citizen or resident in their family.

Questions

What families ask before they call

Do I have to come to San Jose?

No. Most clients never visit the office. We meet by video, you sign electronically, and you upload documents from your phone. If you’d rather meet in person, the office on North Third Street is open on weekdays.

What does the flat fee cover?

All the work on the case named in your agreement: the forms, the evidence list, the cover letter, answers to any request for evidence, and preparing you for the interview. Government filing fees are separate and go straight to USCIS.

Are you notarios?

No. We are licensed lawyers. A notario or immigration consultant can’t give legal advice, and the wrong form can cost you years. Ask anyone helping with your case for their bar number.

Who speaks Spanish?

Elvira Covarrubias and Rodrigo Valdivia meet in Spanish. Thuy Truong meets in Vietnamese and English. Tell us your language when you book.

Is what I tell you private?

Yes, once you’re talking with a lawyer about your case. Please don’t put the details of your situation in the website form; save them for the consult.

Tell us what you need, and we’ll tell you the fee

A 30-minute video consult has a set fee, and it counts toward your flat fee if you hire us.
